Blah. Random update thingie that's going to sit here and become outdated but not actually go away. It's so dA. Well, another year, and I've decided to keep some approaches, review others and develop a few new ones. We change (yes we do). And whether or not we improve as photographers, we change as photographers, in the way we see, think, feel, interact and hopefully also shoot. This year's goal is to finalize the print exhibition (the ongoing project with the talented Metoikos Cadmus ~metoikos (https://www.deviantart.com/metoikos) ). The shortlist is done, a good printer has been found who is quite reasonable and able to produce first class results. The paper selected and

Another long period with very little camera action. At some stage this will be rectified, but for now I'm letting things lie a bit. I have had to focus on other priorities, a new job and activities involving expensive equipment other than the photographic kind. I've had breaks from camera work before, and the old inspiration always comes back - a true love for the art usually guarantees that, so I'm not too stressed about it. I do miss it though. And I must say that there are times when this stupid dA interface gets a little too irritating. The fact that that's half the point is also annoying.

I haven't browsed your work for a while, almost forgot how many breathtaking images you've captured. You are quite talented, keep up the good work....I wish you weren't so far away.
